Baker Hughes is at the forefront of advanced solutions for one of the first privately owned refineries in China. Hengli Petrochemical selected Baker Hughes to supply Masoneilan control and Consolidated safety relief valves for their new 400,000 bpd refinery outside the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province. “A full scope of high performance product offering for these applications, including general service, as well as customized specialty severe service valve solutions for the most demanding applications are what gave Baker Hughes the edge for this type of plant technology”, said Christina Andersen, CEO Baker Hughes Valves. “We put our top teams from around the world to execute this project for our China customers, pulling years of industry experience from our factory in Conde sur Noireau, France, combined with the heavy volume of support from our Kariwa, Japan,and Shuzhou, China facilities to make this a great success.”
